6 Week Adult Progressive Dance Fitness Program

Cardiovascular fun for all ages and fitness levels!  Each Fusion Dance Fitness session consists of 6 varied classes in a themed approach as listed below and/or a random fusion mix of  Latin, Funk, Modern, Hip Hop, Bollywood, Ballet and African dance styles and music!  Play and enjoy a fusion mix of music and dance styles in a non-intimidating environment.  Incorporated in each class is an excellent abdominal and core conditioning segment for body awareness and results. Have FUN, sweat and release your inhibitions as classes improve confidence and self esteem!
No dance experience necessary.

Finding Your Groove

This introduction to the Fusion series involves a basic understanding of rhythmic sequences in music, dance patterning, and styling. Stomp, drum and sweat to a funky beat as you experiment in finding the groove within you!

Body Isolations

Learn techniques in body isolations, awareness and wave movements for the ultimate ‘mind body’ connection! Feel confident as you learn to control the way you imagine your body to move.

Latin Beat

Let’s get crazy in this hip shakin’, abdominal tightening dance workout! Salsa, Meringue and hip circles combined for a fun and sexy celebration of movement.

Modern Movement

Enjoy the opportunity to express YOU with the use of contraction/release and under/over curve movements based in modern dance. This barefoot class focuses on proper alignment and core strength due to its ballet influence, to provide a strong foundation for all dance styles.

Bollywood Bangra

Feel the energy as you are introduced to a fusion of eastern and western dance forms. Derived from the Indian film industry, Bollywood combines Indian folk dance with urban dance styling to make Bangra the newest dance craze!

Hip Hop to Pop

This high-energy class is enjoyed by all ages as we learn the latest urban dance steps and techniques that are influenced by some of today’s hottest video choreographers, but without the choreography!

Dance Like the Stars!

You are ready for a gently choreographed routine set to pop music. Feel the exhilaration in mastering a short, cardio intensive dance piece you can show off to family and friends!

Ballet Body

Stretch Out with dynamic and fluid movements to improve flexibility and release tension. Featuring basic ballet technique and positions with an urban twist. Varied use of a Ballet Barre supports focus on posture and core balance while developing long lean limbs.
